Meeting at catering school, owners John and Glenn bought their first pub, the Jolly Farmer in Newton Abbot, in 1992. Having turned The Jolly Farmer into THE local destination of choice for great quality, excellent music and fantastic food, John and Glenn decided to expand their offer through a program of further investment in other local inns. Venture Inns now operates seven pubs across Devon, their very own brewery, a function suite and an outside catering company. Having a reputation of offering customers the very best value for money through quality drinks and a full food offer, each pub is individual in style and unique in feel and caters for their own local market.
